The world knows what people mean when someone says that they have diabetes or breast cancer. It is difficult and frustrating when the world around you doesn't believe that you are in pain and even doctors don't believe that your pain is real. The true shock is found when you see the peer into the world of RSD/CRPS through a families eyes - especailly when their person is pain is their child. To listen to the dramatic change in identity, riding the roller coaster of hope and dispair, and how their dreams were shattered because of a simple fall or surgery raises awareness of reality. Just becuase these people seem fine on the outside isn't a reason to believe that life is as it appears.

We have several individuals, including teens, kids and families, who are willing to be interviewed and sacrifice their story's privacy for awareness and to help others. It is inevitable that there are other teens and kids out there with RSD who need answers to their mysterious severe pain. Help us so that we can help them.
