The RSD in Motion Walk-a-thon

Here's how you can help: 1. Log onto www.GoodSearch.com. 2. Type in RSDSA* in the "Who d you GoodSearch for?" box. 3. Select RSDSA. 4. In the search box, make a search (as if you were on www.google.com) and one penny will be donated to RSDSA. RSDSA is another credible RSD organization. RSD in Motion Ribbons* To help support RSD in Motion and RSD research, you can purchase an RSD ribbon that can conveniently be pinned to your jacket, shirt, or bag. They can be purchased for $2. Proceeds go to RSD in Motion, and a donation will be made to RSD research. To purchase ribbon(s), contact Colleen Bartman at RSDinMotionOH@hotmail.com.		The dress-down-day on May 11th for RSD in Motion was a success! The dress-down-day was held at Hawken Upper School in Gates Mills, Ohio, Colleen's high school. Because there is a dress code at Hawken, a dress-down-day allows the students and faculty to wear jeans or sweatpants, but only if they pay one dollar to the designated community service organization. On May 11th, the dress-down-day raised $136.35 for RSD in Motion! Thank you to all who dressed down and raised money. The RSD in Motion staff greatly appreciates it. The money will help fund research to find a cure for Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy.
Raffle for RSD in Motion From May 21st through May 30th, 2007 Colleen held a raffle in order to raise money and awareness for RSD in Motion. Hawken Upper School donated five items (all with the Hawken logo on them) to raffle off to the Hawken community. There was a tank-top, jacket, pair of shorts, hat, and water bottle. One ticket was $1 or three tickets were $2. The first name drawn from the raffle could choose one of the five items, the second name drawn could choose one of the four items, and so on. Thank you to those of you in the Hawken Community who bought raffle tickets. Special thanks to Mr. Bob Rodriguez, who donated the five items from the Hawk's Nest. The total amount raised from raffle tickets, was $173.54! The RSD in Motion staff greatly appreciates the generous donations and hopes to continue raising money for finding a cure and raising awareness for RSD.		Our GOAL for the Ohio Branch of RSD in Motion: $500 Please help the Ohio Branch reach this goal for RSD in Motion. Proceeds will go to research and raising awareness. In April and May of 2007, the Ohio Branch of RSD in Motion raised a total of $308.90! Thank you to everyone who made such generous donations. In order to reach our goal of $500, we still need to raise $191.10. Let's raise more money and find a cure!
